How can I discover the netname of a TSO user from within TSO? Either
directly in REXX or via a called assembler subroutine?

Thanks,

If by netname you mean VTAM secondary LU name here's an example.

/* REXX */
SYSTERMID = sysvar("SYSTERMID")
say "LU name is" SYSTERMID
exit

Gives:
LU name is MYLUNAME

This will usually be a TN3270 SLU name or an SLU name in your multi-session
application if you have one. It does not directly get you an IP address.

See here of other sysvar() options in TSO REXX.
