Maybe it is unclear 5224 is SYSRES? Has IPLTEXT been written to 5224? Maybe create a SYS0.IPLPARM(LOADxx) on 5224 to see if you can progress? Peter Is SYS1.PARMLIB on device number 5224? As Radolaw mentioned, it is too early in the IPL for any catalog access. Hi I have built a test lpar and while loading I received A disabled Wait state of 002088 I checked in manual it says because of I/O error The Auxillary storage manager detected a paging I/O error when attempting to read from or write to storage-class memory (SCM). the error can be caused by hardware or a software.
