Currently have one z/VM 5.4 LPAR on Z9 processor. IOCDS is created and maintained via z/OS in another LPAR. We have 4 stand alone 3592 tape drives that are shared across LPARs. Any negative effects to z/VM LPAR i f they use AUTOSWITCH in the IOCDS? These are the only tapes that z/VM has access to. We've been switching then via Vary commands and would like to
get away from that.
