It's been so long since I accessed IBMLink via green screen that I've
forgotten how to do it. Is it an IP address or name in the emulator
and if so, what is it? Something obvious such as IBMLINK.IBM.COM or ???

Is there a non-VTAM way?

:sarcasm.
And even more unusual: actually acknowledging the presence and business value
of VM and CMS to IBM in public -- and in front of a bunch of z/OS weenies, and
everybody. What will the z/OS people think? Somebody might think CMS apps had
strategic value or something like that... oh, did I say that out loud? Oops. 8-)
:esarcasm.

I bet IBMlink operations must have some really senior people chewing them out
by now. This is at least the second or third major outage of the WWW based tool
in the last couple months.

Good thing they kept those VM systems running, or at worst, were able to
reprovision them quickly. Would make a nice case study, no?
