That Carr book is so good, what a story! I am off in a couple of hours
but had to say that last night people kept stopping by with gifts for
friends in Kenya. Two Kikiyu friends living near here here stayed for
hours and we had such fun. I am meeting their sisters and mother in
Nairobi for lunch. Everyone sends cash too and I am worried about
carrying so much.

Africa is amazing isn't it, I spent a month there in 1987, Egypt,
Ethiopia, and Kenya, I would love to go back.

OMGosh! What an adventure that must have been. One of my dreams is to
visit Africa...where I have not idea. But I would love to ride in one
of the safaris that I have seen on the internet.

What a beautiful people. We have a photo somewhere around here of our
grandaughter surrounded by the children she helped to care for in an
orphanage (Rawanda I think). Her white skin is practically flourescent.
