Yes, she rode with just socks as when she mounted her loafers fell off, so they were left there until the end of the ride. The little girl had fun leading her mom around on her first horse ride. Cookie is a pretty danged good safe horse. While I'm recovering from the broken leg, I've been able to get on her a couple of times and feel confident that I'm not going to get hurt or re-injure the leg.
