Re: [IceHorses] Susan? Hoof Protection
Here's that hoof protection info I was considering. http://www.hoofarmor.com/ WE use hoof armor in our farrier business. It is a good product if put on correctly. You must follow the instructions perfectly. We have used it to help a horse transition to barefoot...for horses with tender soles...works great if you shoe in the front, you might be able to use this product for the hinds...it last about 4 weeks on our volcanic terrain, I am thinking it would last longer in normal conditions. 2 people for the process is very helpful, and a good horse willing to keep the foot up Skye Fire Island Eco-Treks-808-443-6085 Fire Island Professional Farrier Service-640-6080

http://www.vettec.com/65/productsdo.html This might be worth trying out, as well, I'm thinking. We have not used the ADhere product, but all of the VETTEC products we use are very very good products. They are high quality. Skye Fire Island Eco-Treks-808-443-6085 Fire Island Professional Farrier Service-640-6080
