Yes, I also enjoyed the color article. I know now that Hlekkur , my plain old chestnut, is really a red dun. His father was red dun and Hlekkur has all the characteristics of red dun. The current issue of TOLT NEWS has several good articles, my favorite is on Icelandic coloring - especially cream dilution. Cream on chestnut = palomino or cream on black = blue dun, etc. Great pictures explain so much thanks in large part to Mic who must have access to all the colors of these horses. So now I'll stop calling the horse standing next to mine a buckskin; he is a bay dun. Nancy in Sonoma
