Both kinds, and I have a cute pair that looks like a pair of strappy
 sandals...

I want the ones called Mammoth that have synthetic sheepskin inside. My
 regular
beach ones are purple.

Hi Mic

I have 5 original pairs (red, orange, bright blue, purple and yellow),
and one pair of knockoffs (pink). The KOs are ok, but no, not as good.

I have a pair of Crocs I bought in Hawaii about 4 years ago - at that time
people just thought they were ugly - but I thought they were comfortable and
so light. I have since acquired several new pairs and noticed that the
first pair I bought - at that time they were made in Canada for an American
company - are softer than the newer ones that are made in China.

While most of the KO's I have tried are not as comfortable the exception I
found were Dawgs that I gave away to someone in Germany because I thought
I could easily get more - they have memory foam in them and are actually
more comfortable than Crocs - the store that sold them have since closed so
I have to go on the internet.

In South Africa they have become very popular over the past year and come in
even more colors than I have seen here.

It is an interesting company because they originally made boots - like
wellies - that were for chicken farmers because they are light and can be
washed in the machine and I saw a pair in South Africa (have never seen them
here).

We also have many pairs of crocs at our house. Originally, our children's
physical therapist suggested them for the kids. I couldn't even find them
locally, had to order on-line. Now they're everywhere.

You seen them a lot in hospital settings on nurses who spend lots of time on
their feet. I use them for everything - after all, they hose off in
seconds.
