wow you see so many nuts lately on RFDTV, just horse abuse really... but this mule guy was on today, man he was really something!! He said things like, "if he won't lower his head for you to work with him you don't need to work with him any further than on lowering the head because he is not in a frame of mind to learn from you" Then he went on and on about how you should be soft and have only a snaffle and that the final outcome should be that if the reins are totally loose and you have whoaed him, you can clap and yell and wave your arms and the animal should be relaxed and not move, because he has learned when he has whoaed and the reins are loose it is not time to go. He was a very good trainer... Janice
