I try to ask myself: is it good for horses and people for me to say this... We have a wonderful opportunity here to really make a difference! We have seen it with walking horses! We shut down the WGC last year! for the first time in a 60 year history! So i try and say what I think needs to be said and if it bothers someone but is better for horses then oh well, get over it. And of course sometimes I smart off trying to be funny and maybe regret it, but I am trying to make a gerater effort and trying to be more helpful to people and horses. But its not good to be nasty because then you lose an opportunity to attract bees with honey and not vinegar. and then also I notice: sometimes when people start arguing the whole point gets lost behind the argument! Nancy Yep, and I confess, I AM having a bad day... but we have a few people who only seem to come on the list to defend the same old practices, even when they continue to escalate (as in the noseband issue) ...well, it makes it hard for me to stay nice, especially after hearing the same things over and over for five years.
