i just gently rake them with my fingers and pull them out. They love it so much they stand there for about five minutes then I have to chase them round and round the paddock. I usually just do the armpits with scissors or those little face clippers that run on batteries. My donkey is the worst, His hair never comes out. I believe it would stay there year round, i just grab a handful and tug and it slips out, big curls and all clumped together. If i do the mars coat king it is too much of a tug and he gets mad. but then he gets mad at almost everything. Janice -- even good horses have bad days sometimes.
