kalo mau pasang hero harus sikat SPL custom lagi , saya pakai haykuro
yang mematikan itu .. ahlamdulillah teliti dan hati2 akhirnya bisa

coba ke http://android.tux.or.id aja liat cara pindah ke hero

HATI-HATI DAN TELITI YAH . harap dibaca2 dulu hingga yakin , karena
gagal disitu yg membuat G1 jadi batu bata

Three Reasons Android Could Terminate Apple

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.
While the iPhone has to try to juggle between enterprise users, multimedia 
users and social network users, Android can have a tailored version for phones 
segmented to each individual market niche.

3). Killer Apps:
There's been some controversy lately about Apple's AppStore rejection policies. 
A number of Google applications were rejected from the phone. On one hand, this 
hurt Google's ability to roll out those services, but it also gave Android a 
handful of killer apps.
- Google Voice is an extremely powerful concept -- it allows users to unbridle 
their phone number from telecoms, using Google to route calls to a single 
number to any number of phones. It does the same for text messages and turns 
voicemails into text. If Google Voice routed to a VoIP service running on a 
carrier data network, it could overnight replace the need for voice and text 
message packages.
- Google Latitude, meanwhile, is a location based social tool which allows 
location reporting to run in the background and send location data to contacts 
a user specifies. Each of these pack a ton of potential utility in a single 
application, which the iPhone doesn't have.

Apple's position in the market is too well-rooted to be driven away without a 
very tough fight. But Android is very much poised to stifle the iPhone's growth 
while extending its own roots.
Keep an eye on the friendly green robot -- behind that guise he's waiting 
patiently, and planning carefully.

Three Reasons Android Could Terminate Apple

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.
While the iPhone has to try to juggle between enterprise users, multimedia 
users and social network users, Android can have a tailored version for phones 
segmented to each individual market niche.

3). Killer Apps:
There's been some controversy lately about Apple's AppStore rejection policies. 
A number of Google applications were rejected from the phone. On one hand, this 
hurt Google's ability to roll out those services, but it also gave Android a 
handful of killer apps.
- Google Voice is an extremely powerful concept -- it allows users to unbridle 
their phone number from telecoms, using Google to route calls to a single 
number to any number of phones. It does the same for text messages and turns 
voicemails into text. If Google Voice routed to a VoIP service running on a 
carrier data network, it could overnight replace the need for voice and text 
message packages.
- Google Latitude, meanwhile, is a location based social tool which allows 
location reporting to run in the background and send location data to contacts 
a user specifies. Each of these pack a ton of potential utility in a single 
application, which the iPhone doesn't have.

Apple's position in the market is too well-rooted to be driven away without a 
very tough fight. But Android is very much poised to stifle the iPhone's growth 
while extending its own roots.
Keep an eye on the friendly green robot -- behind that guise he's waiting 
patiently, and planning carefully.

Must have apps?

   1. Astro or Linda -> 22nya file manager, dulu gw lbh suka Astro, tp
   akhir2 ini klo aplikasi yg udah diinstall banyak, pas masuk Application
   manager jadi lambat gitu. Linda sampai saat ini mnrt gw lbh bagus dalam hal
   speed.
   2. Astrid -> Todo, bisa sync lgsg sama calendar kita
   3. 3Bannana -> notepad aplication, bisa picture notepad, voice notepad..
   sync sama account 3bannana
   4. Netcounter -> buat cek pemakaian GPRS
   5. APNDroid -> switch APN mati sama sekali, mati disini bener2 mati yah,
   kaga ada gprs yg keluar
   6. Taskkiller -> task manager
   7. Backup for root user -> ROOT USER ONLY hehe.. :D buat backup dari sms,
   contact sampe dictionary :P
   8. Shazam -> cek lagu yg lagi dimaenin di radio, hehe..

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.
While the iPhone has to try to juggle between enterprise users, multimedia 
users and social network users, Android can have a tailored version for phones 
segmented to each individual market niche.

3). Killer Apps:
There's been some controversy lately about Apple's AppStore rejection policies. 
A number of Google applications were rejected from the phone. On one hand, this 
hurt Google's ability to roll out those services, but it also gave Android a 
handful of killer apps.
- Google Voice is an extremely powerful concept -- it allows users to unbridle 
their phone number from telecoms, using Google to route calls to a single 
number to any number of phones. It does the same for text messages and turns 
voicemails into text. If Google Voice routed to a VoIP service running on a 
carrier data network, it could overnight replace the need for voice and text 
message packages.
- Google Latitude, meanwhile, is a location based social tool which allows 
location reporting to run in the background and send location data to contacts 
a user specifies. Each of these pack a ton of potential utility in a single 
application, which the iPhone doesn't have.

Apple's position in the market is too well-rooted to be driven away without a 
very tough fight. But Android is very much poised to stifle the iPhone's growth 
while extending its own roots.
Keep an eye on the friendly green robot -- behind that guise he's waiting 
patiently, and planning carefully.

Three Reasons Android Could Terminate Apple

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.
While the iPhone has to try to juggle between enterprise users, multimedia 
users and social network users, Android can have a tailored version for phones 
segmented to each individual market niche.

3). Killer Apps:
There's been some controversy lately about Apple's AppStore rejection policies. 
A number of Google applications were rejected from the phone. On one hand, this 
hurt Google's ability to roll out those services, but it also gave Android a 
handful of killer apps.
- Google Voice is an extremely powerful concept -- it allows users to unbridle 
their phone number from telecoms, using Google to route calls to a single 
number to any number of phones. It does the same for text messages and turns 
voicemails into text. If Google Voice routed to a VoIP service running on a 
carrier data network, it could overnight replace the need for voice and text 
message packages.
- Google Latitude, meanwhile, is a location based social tool which allows 
location reporting to run in the background and send location data to contacts 
a user specifies. Each of these pack a ton of potential utility in a single 
application, which the iPhone doesn't have.

Apple's position in the market is too well-rooted to be driven away without a 
very tough fight. But Android is very much poised to stifle the iPhone's growth 
while extending its own roots.
Keep an eye on the friendly green robot -- behind that guise he's waiting 
patiently, and planning carefully.

Tinggal liat2 aja punya HTC, Motorola, Samsung, LG bahkan nanti Sony Ericsson 
xPeria3... Belum lagi nanti INQ, dll... Motorola aja mo ngeluarin 10 HH Android 
dlm 6 bulan ini. Kan yg join OHA itu ada banyak vendor om... So, speaking about 
Android itu tidak terikat di fisiknya (IMHO)... Karena sesuai dg alasan nomor 2 
tadi.

Beda kalo iphone yg hanya satu bentuk fisik aja.

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.
While the iPhone has to try to juggle between enterprise users, multimedia 
users and social network users, Android can have a tailored version for phones 
segmented to each individual market niche.

3). Killer Apps:
There's been some controversy lately about Apple's AppStore rejection policies. 
A number of Google applications were rejected from the phone

Three Reasons Android Could Terminate Apple

Despite the Hype, iPhone Isn't the Only Mobile Platform in Town

The smartphone market seems to be shoe-in: Apple has momentum in the space 
reminiscent of its takeover of the MP3 player market years prior with the iPod. 
Despite this momentum, the discerning media planner working on mobile for 
something six months out should take note -- Google's Android is poised to 
crash Apple's party. Why? Three reasons:

1). Android Clones:
While the iPhone had Chinese imitation devices, Android will literally have a 
clone army. The open-source system will live on a handful of devices by the end 
of this year, and dozens of devices by the end of 2010.
So while the system seemed to languish when the only Android device was the G1, 
with phones like the HTC Hero and myTouch 3G, Android will traverse carrier 
networks and handset manufacturers.

2). Specialized Versions:
Android can be customized, and many of the handset manufactures are doing just 
this. HTC has built the Sense UI, a prettier and contextually aware revamp of 
the Android operating system, and Motorola is working on their Android-based UI 
"Blur."
With the ability to customize the flavor of Android for devices, it creates a 
competitive marketplace among handsets to vie for custom features while 
expanding the overall Android market share.

Nah, masalahnya fisiknya Android banyak bener om... Gak cuman satu bentuk aja 
yg kayak remote ac yg seperti om blg tadi...hehehhehe

Tinggal liat2 aja punya HTC, Motorola, Samsung, LG bahkan nanti Sony Ericsson 
xPeria3... Belum lagi nanti INQ, dll... Motorola aja mo ngeluarin 10 HH Android 
dlm 6 bulan ini. Kan yg join OHA itu ada banyak vendor om... So, speaking about 
Android itu tidak terikat di fisiknya (IMHO)... Karena sesuai dg alasan nomor 2 
tadi.

Beda kalo iphone yg hanya satu bentuk fisik aja.

Top selling Android apps and games for September 2009

Welcome back to our monthly report of the top selling Android applications and 
games.  We like to track the most popular mobile software in order to see if we 
can identify any trends in the Android world.  The official Android Market is 
misleading with their most popular list, so we grab our stats from aTrackDog.

Let’s get to the lists and see what’s hot. Top 10 Applications  (Rank-Previous 
Position-Apps Price-Developer):

Advanced Task Manager remains the most popular paid application and it shows no 
signs of slowing down. The developer Arron La recently updated his app to 
support Android 1.6 and is promising a “major update” in the next release. I 
personally love the app and consider it a must have for all Android users.

Documents to Go continues to climb the charts. They recently updated their app 
to version 2.0 which added support for Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe PDF 
files. Their latest update also reduced the application size by 25% and now 
supports eight languages. Dataviz offers a free version of Documents to go 
which allows users the ability to view Word and Excel files.

Bluex dropped three spots because the application does not support Android 1.6. 
Developers need to be ahead of the curve if they want to remain at the top of 
the best selling list.

Power Manager has fallen hard the last couple of months and I expect it will be 
off the charts next time. The latest Android 1.6 update adds several 
enhancements to improve battery life. The new Battery Use report in Android 1.6 
displays exactly which applications and functions are eating up battery.

Finally, one trend I have noticed among the top selling apps is the ability to 
purchase the app from a source other than Android Market. Some developers have 
chosen alternative markets like SlideME and others are offering direct purchase 
from their website. Many countries still lack the ability to purchase paid 
applications from the Android Market so it is important to provide other 
payment options.

If a developer wants to remain at the top, they need to release regular updates 
and Lupis Labs has done this with Robo Defense. Lupis Labs recently pushed out 
a new version of Robo Defense which included bug fixes and added a new boss 
character. Robo Defense remains a popular game among its fans maintaining a 
4.93 out of 5 rating.

HeroCraft released their first Android title early in September and it debuted 
at number seven. Farm Frenzy is a farming simulator that allows you to look 
after chickens, sheep and cows and produce cakes, wool, butter and cheese. It 
appears HeroCraft has a large library of games for other phone platforms so 
hopefully they will port more titles to Android.

Google just released the Android 1.6 NDK which includes enhanced support for 
OpenGL ES 1.1 so hopefully developers will take advantage of this in upcoming 
titles. We are finally starting to see true 3D games like Speed Forge 3D and I 
hope this is a sign more games are on the way.

It really is amazing that so few developers have been able to take full 
advantage of the powerful hardware found inside the current Android phones.

Palm Pre and Android phone owners could be getting some Sling streaming 
television action if this Sling Media job listing reveals anything. The company 
is looking for a Mobile Interface Designer who has experience with Android and 
WebOS applications.

The listing demands that an applicant for the position: Be knowledgeable about 
and/or interested in becoming an expert on the existing user interface 
paradigms used on iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android, and 
Palm WebOS  Of course, if they are just looking for people to work on this now 
we can't really expect to see it this week or next, but at least it is in the 
works.

dan belum nemuin loading waktu balik ke home screen , ini malah dirasa

Kalo aplikasi download manager yang bagus apa yah kira ² ??

  sekarang saya pakai yang experimental b .. running full widget , eh ada 1 
windows gak di widgetin sih , cuma 6 aja sisanya buat shortcut


  dan itu fast bgt , jarang liat lagi loading begitu pindah dari applikasi ke 
homescreen , seneng banget dah hehehe

  message
  peep <-- working now
  dan printilan widget kecil 4 buat ..

gak tau tuh mas , tapi yg pasti hero ringan yg ini lebih enteng dari hero
ringan yg sebelumnya gak keseringan loading homescreen
serasa pake hero asli banyak widget di wall nya :)
