Sebenarnya ini juga pertanyaan yang mengelitik di hati dan otak saya. Maklum niubi puol di android ini. Kalo dulu jaman winmo (ppc) masih berjaya, htc lock device pake spl dan cid. Jadi kalo spl nya bukan yg perfect (kalo istilah sekarang) kita tetep bisa ganti rom dengan yg custom asal masih dalam lingkup cid (country id) yang sama. Kalo kepingin pake rom dr cid yg beda maka harus di hardspl (mungkin istilah sekarang engineering spl). La kalo di android kan rasanya ga ada cid lagi. Cuma spl masih ada. Kalo nih misalnya sudah bisa tekan tombol home+power. Sudah keluar menu buat backup, flash update.zip, dkk. Apa masih dibutuhkan engineering spl? Apa keuntungan dr engineering spl? The hard reset in Motorola Milestone Step by Step 1. Turns off the device, just take out the battery and puts them on again. 2. Dalam situsnya, komunitas Android-x86 menyebutkan, hanya beberapa bulan setelah menciptakan patch yang memungkinkan Android dijalankan pada platform x86, mereka menyadari temuan ini dapat dikembangkan lebih jauh lagi. Kelompok ini lalu memutuskan untuk lebih mengembangkan kode dasar yang mereka temukan agar bisa mendukung platform x86 lainnya dan menghostingnya pada server mereka. Proyek ini, pertama-tama bertujuan untuk menyediakan solusi lengkap bagi Android pada platform Eee PC, lalu bagi platform x86, tulis Android-x86 pada situs mereka, seperti dikutip dari *TG Daily*, Kamis (21/1/2010). Sejauh ini, kelompok pengembang tersebut telah menguji temuan mereka pada sebagian besar netbook Asus seri Eee PC. Di antaranya seri Eee PC seri 701, 701SD, 900, 900A, 901, 904HD, 1000, 1000HE, 1000HD, 1005HAG, S101, T91 (VESA mode) dan Eee Top 1602C. Temuan ini juga bisa bekerja pada tablet Lenovo ThinkPad x61. Semua perangkat di atas diketahui menjalankan native resolution (800x480 atau 1024x600) melalui driver i915, yang semuanya berjalan pada Linux Kernel 2.6.29 dengan mode-setting kernel (KMS) enabled.
