[id-android] WTI: Buzzunga

[Adinda Erisyanita]

Apps ini nampilin buzz dari orang2 yg kita follow. Fiturnya cuman itu doang sih 
plus notification klo ada new buzz, belom bisa posting atau comment apa2. 
Semoga ada di next release.

Mumpung lagi mood ngeflash, boleh dong dishare ROM magic apa aja yg must try. 
Gw pernah coba myhero cupcake, manup eclair, sekarang betah sama cm donut.  
Tanpa mengurangi rasa hormat, prefer donut ke atas yaaa.

[id-android] Review beberapa custom ROM on G1

Siang semua. lagi iseng dikit mo review, sapa tau berguna...tp 
maklum dari seorang newbe


HTC G1 Dream T-Mobile waktu dpt dgn F/W Ori Donut 1.6 ---> Langsung ROOT 
dgn Custom ROM pertama adalah Donut Custom ---> krn baru banget make 
Android jadi gak tau gimana2 nya, tp yg pasti belum app2sd :P, cuma pake 
1 hari langsung ganti Custom Rom Eclair 2.1 by KingKlick , waktu g 
install versinya udah yg V.1.6.1 , pake 1 mingguan gak masalah, termasuk 
stabil, perna Hang beberapa x, tp di-diemin aja kembali 
normal.(sampe mikir ini OS Android hebat banget ya, Hang gimana asal 
sabar dikit beres, gak sampe cabut batt)
Kelemahan ternyata Video-Driver gak ada, so gak bisa nonton Film deh 
(termasuk Youtube)


Trus keluar V1.7.1 ---> yg gak taunya musti ke V1.7 dulu ---> FullWipe , 
baru ke 1.7.1 NoWipe
Nah di V1.7.1 ini ada Patch-nya untuk bisa Video/Film, tp bukan bikinan 
KingKlick ---> cari Cannon

So langsung deh flash ke V1.7.1 + Patch nya sekalian
Setelah 2-3 hari baru deh kayanya kurang stabil, hang musti copot batt 
---> soalnya sampe 1 jam tetep hang (waktu v 1.6.1 , hang paling lama 15 
menit dah normal)
Coba install ulang. hasilnya gak pernah hang sampe copot batt lagi, 
tp restart , kadang sehari bisa 2x, biasa lagi ngetak-ngetik 
emailtau2 macet spt hang gitu, tp paling 20 detik trus restart
Oya udah bisa nonton film walau harus HQ (HiQuality), termasuk Youtube 
bisa asal film-nya HQ, kalo LQ gak bisa baik Mp4 apalagi 3gp
Udah ada 3D Gallery ---> otomatis langsung muncul foto2 kita dari blog 
yg pernah kita bikin asal dgn acc google ---> nongol 2 alamat blog g yg 
mana udah lupa tuh punya blog :P
3D Gallery keren, lancar gak lag2, cuma kalo pas buka dr potrait ke 
landscape...gambar berantakan, kayanya rendering gak beres, tp kalo pas 
buka udah dr posisi Landscapekeren...tp sama, begitu kita 
potrait...berantakan ---> so sebelum open 3D Gallery...dari awal tentuin 
mau Landscape apa Potrait/Normal
Game 3D issue udah jalan, belum coba/males ---> gak hobby game :P , tp 
pernah coba waktu di V1.6.1 sih emang lag-lag tuh



Nah.V1.7.1 Eclair 2.1 by Kingklick ini ternyata di G1 g kurang 
stabil, tapi ada beberapa yg bisa jadi penyebab, belum coba sih :


1. Install V1.7 aja.. mungkin aja stabil
2. Install V1.7.1 aja tanpa Patch.. mungkin juga stabil
3. Apa Patch ini yg bikin gak stabil ? ---> Patch spt-nya hanya bisa 
kalo dah V1.7.1 , jadi gak bisa V1.7 + Patch


Dah keluar V.1.8 Eclair 2.1 by KingKlick, baca2 masih ada yg bil gak 
bisa Video/Youtube, ada yg bilang work-perfect bahkan normal video or LQ


Mulai dari V.1.6.1 udah otomatis APP2SD :D

Pernah coba juga Custom Rom senseHERO , lupa by & versi berapa :P, 
tapi...asli utk tampilan sih keren dah., minus-nya belum app2sd dan 
ini rom super lengkap, so gak perlu download2 app dari market lagi, tp 
akibat-nya sisa Internal Mem or RAM jadi kecil, di G1 cuma sisa 20mb, 
waktu pake Eclair 2.1 60-70mb


Sekarang pake custom rom Cyanogen mod fro Dream V4.2.15.1, baru 3-4 hari 
make, stabil..belum pernah hang or restart , tp perasaan aja kali 
yah...batt kayanya lebih boros ? :P

Udah app2sd , video normal ; youtube jalan
Gak ada 3D Gallery, Gmail amplop merah cuma bisa single-acc :(
App Camera spt FX-Camera dan CameraPro jalan perfect :D

malah kalo di paksa make apalagi fungsi zoom-nya, 1x 2x 3x hang trus

Masih ada beberapa Eclair 2.1 for G1/Dream ini spt dari Manup dan 
Cannon...tp belum coba, baca2 sih yg Manup cukup stabil, tp tetep gak 
bisa Video ---> apa semua custom rom Eclair 2.1 utk Dream/G1 masih belum 
bisa Video/Film secara normal yah ?

malah sekarang icon Mp3 Store Amazon ilang, cuma tulisan aja

btw , kalo mau gak pake themes, back to original gimana yah, secara kan 
Install-nya via recovery-mode bukan spt install app biasa ?


btw ini sering gonta-ganti coba2 themes spt ini gak apa2 kan, oya kalo 
mau ganti juga langsung "flash" aja kan , langsung 'tiban' gitu :D

wipe ampe 3x biasa 2x dah nyampe ke ext...setelah flash baru nyadar.

*Features:*

   - Based on Legend ROM using Behnaam's apps/frameworks and kernel ports.
   - FriendStream Widget
   - Improved Battery life over NeORoM1.X.
   - Internet Sharing
   - Hide/Show SIM Contacts
   - Clean & Light, no extra junk.
   - Superuser (Root)
   - Slight tweaks to remove "Legend" Identity.
   - PNG Optimized some frameworks, more to come.

*Quirks:*

   - GPS: After first install, turn on GPS and reboot.
   - APN: APN list forcecloses, I am currently in conversation with an
   expert annd hopefully will get this fixed soon. The temporary fix is to use
   APN Backup & Restore (market), Delete APN list and then it will open fine to
   manually add your own.
   - Trackball: Trackball might glow once, but that's it.

*Added:*

   - ASTRO File explorer. (Removable)
   - GPS Test. (Removable)
   - SD Storage Widget (Removable)
   - Nav Launcher (Removable)
   - Cleaned up some HTC Customizations more to come.

Note: I added these for testing purposes, They will be removed in future
releases except ASTRO which I will always keep and possibly Nav Launcher.

*Installation:*

   - Enter Custom Recovery (Amon-Ra or similar)
   - WIPE Data
   - WIPE Dalvik-Cache
   - Install Update from SD Card ->NeORoM2.0a.zip
   - Wait for boot and complete Setup Wizard.
   - Turn on GPS.
   - Reboot.
   - Enjoy.

Please test and give me your feedback, I plan on making some further
modifications and fixing known problems as soon as I find a suitable fix.

Otherwise, enjoy, and I hope there are few or no problems.
