Names of People Encoded On RFID Cards

2008-11-16 Thread Athar Shiraz Siddiqui
Names of people attending SIP / SIPPING who requested before noon
Saturday were encoded in NYC and handed to "Omer Boyaci"
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

The names are located here : http://groups.google.com/group/ietfrfid/files
You dont need to login but if its inconvenient email me to request
status of your request. Omer has five blank cards left with him.

You can contact Omer directly at (646) 842 2342 .

Since our team will depart by Friday noon I doubt the system will be
available for Friday.

Who Wants an RFID Badge for the Upcoming IETF Conference?

2008-11-13 Thread Athar Shiraz Siddiqui
Dr. Henning has asked us to install a system which will help
participants identify themselves with their name and affiliation.

If you want to know more about the raison d'ĂȘtre for the project
please view this presentation (see[1]).

Briefly: the purpose of the badge is to permit people (with names that
may have unfamiliar spellings) to have their names transmitted to the
chatrooms announcing their presance.

Kindly email me your name and affiliation or better still just enter
them in this database table right here :

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ietf2008/database?method=reportRows&tbl=1

Or better still if someone can provide us with the names of the
attendees we can prepare the pertinent badges for them :)

So I have a gtalk/ gmail account as you can see from my email. I have
been using gtalk as a testbed and my client sends xmpp messages to
"buddies" on my "buddy list" (or JIDs on my roster?)
Now I wish to send messages to a room like this one for example :
http://jabber.ietf.org/logs/sip/2007-12-05.html

I have invited [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it shows up on my list as
"invited" but nothing else.
This is from my gtalk interface. Is there something that I am doing
wrong? I should expect to join this chatroom, no? Has anyone done this
using a gmail account?

How do I join this chatroom Sir?

What Sort Of Jabber Server For IETF Conference?

2008-11-11 Thread Athar Shiraz Siddiqui
Dear List,

Could someone identify the jabber server that hosts the discussion
rooms (chat rooms ) for the upcoming IETF conference?

How does one get an account on this jabber server?

Does this server require SASL authentication?

I am writing a client that will be communicating with this server and
I would like your assistance please.

Thank you
