Cisco to Host IETF 109 in Bangkok!
The IETF Administration LLC is pleased to announce that Cisco will Host IETF 109 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting will be at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, November 14-20, 2020. Through its IETF Multi-Year Hosting Support Agreement, Cisco has hosted IETF 91 Honolulu in 2014, IETF 100 Singapore in 2017, co-hosted IETF 103 Bangkok in 2018, and co-hosted IETF 104 Prague in 2019. Cisco also hosted IETF 83 Paris in 2012 prior to the agreement. In addition, Cisco has generously agreed to replace the IETF meeting network equipment every three years. Nomcom - IETF 106 In-Person Feedback and Office Hours
Dear IETF 106 Attendees, The Nomcom team will be available to speak and take input directly from the community at the IETF106 venue for those who would to come by the Nomcom room (located in "Fullerton" and "Bonham" rooms). Team members will have the Nomcom sticker on their name tags for easy identification should you want speak to one of us in the halls as well. Reminder - Community feedback for nominees is by Thursday November 21, 2019. Feedback for IAB, IESG Area Directors, IETF Trust and LLC Board. The 2019-20 Nominating Committee has collected a list of willing candidates for the positions open this cycle. You can see the list at https://datatracker.ietf.org/nomcom/2019/feedback/ You may provide feedback using the web form there; it is secure. All web feedback goes into the datatracker using asymmetric encryption, which is then decrypted by the NomCom members as they read it. Your feedback can not be seen by the secretariat, the tools people, or any of the management. Your feedback through the web form is not anonymous when shown to NomCom members as you need an IETF login to provide it. If you want to give truly anonymous feedback, please contact one of the NomCom members that you trust directly, and ask him/her to relay the feedback anonymously to the NomCom.
