Last Call: (YANG Modules for Service Assurance) to Proposed Standard

2022-11-08 Thread The IESG

The IESG has received a request from the Operations and Management Area
Working Group WG (opsawg) to consider the following document: - 'YANG Modules
for Service Assurance'
   as Proposed Standard

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final
comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the
last-c...@ietf.org mailing lists by 2022-11-22. Exceptionally, comments may
be sent to i...@ietf.org instead. In either case, please retain the beginning
of the Subject line to allow automated sorting.

Abstract

This document specifies YANG modules for representing assurance
graphs. These graphs represent the assurance of a given service by
decomposing it into atomic assurance elements called subservices. A
companion document, Service Assurance for Intent-based Networking
Architecture, presents an architecture for implementing the assurance
   of such services.

The YANG data models in this document conforms to the Network
Management Datastore Architecture (NMDA) defined in RFC 8342.

NomCom feedback is open

2022-11-08 Thread NomCom Chair 2022
On October 20 I posted a schedule update [1] that mentioned that community
feedback opens on November 2. I should have explicitly posted, roughly a week
ago, that NomCom is now seeking feedback from the community.

We already have about 100 comments; the NomCom wants to hear from YOU!

Please post your feedback at [2]. Comments are confidential to NomCom and are
not anonymous. If that is a concern, contact a member of the NomCom you feel
comfortable with (I'm also available) to take and forward your feedback.

Bangkok rebooked as IETF meeting venue for IETF 122, March 15-21, 2025

2022-11-08 Thread Jay Daley
We were originally due to meet in Bangkok for IETF 109, but that was moved
fully online due to COVID and Bangkok was rebooked for IETF 113 which was also
moved fully online. I am pleased to announce that we have now rebooked the
Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park in Bangkok for IETF 122 scheduled for March
15-21, 2025. A special word of thanks to our local IETF community member
Kanchana Kanchanasut and her team, who have supported us throughout.

We are now looking for a host and sponsors for this meeting - please contact us
at sponsors...@ietf.org to discuss our opportunities.

Jay
