Indian ISP's suck. ISP's elsewhere offer mirrors for OSS or FOSS and they dont charge users for downloading of OS or updates. Indian gov is all talk and no work. On one hand they claim to support FOSS or OSS and on other hand do very little to promote it in fair way. You should bitch at Intel. Guys should understand that it is not the OS but the licensing by particular vendors that makes driver integration difficult. I use nvidia chipset on all boxes and I never ran into problem with it. NVIDIA is still propriety but offers excellent support for BSD.
