In home I did, grep -rH wallpaper .kde4/* which gave me .... .kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc:userswallpapers= .kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc:wallpapercolor=56,111,150 .kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc:wallpaperposition=0 .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:wallpaperplugin=image .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:wallpaperpluginmode=SingleImage .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:slidepaths=/usr/share/wallpapers/ .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:userswallpapers= .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:wallpaper=/usr/share/wallpapers/Ethais .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:wallpapercolor=0,0,0 .kde4/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc:wallpaperposition=0 ... ... ... I cant boot into it currently due to a xorg issue (being lazy) so cant cross check if it works. Thought it might be of some help.
