[fsug-tvm] trouble...with windows loader

I have Windows XP Pro on my PC. I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on a separate
HDD (internal drive h, retrofitted). During installation i was asked
where to intall boot loader and i selected drive C where XP
currently is.

Now when I turn on the PC, I have to select between
a)Ubuntu
b)Ubuntu (restore mode)
c)Windows XP

Problem: If I select XP , it again asks which one to boot, over
and over (loop).

On contrary, both Ubuntu and Ubuntu (restore mode) boot with
no problem.

Please share your expertise if you have any solution

i too is using mandriva 2009.its working fine on my old jumbo.i want
to know the graphics card make.the crash i think is simply due to
unsupported card type.its a very stable distro with excellent
multimedia support.
