[fsug-tvm] dual boot problems
hi iam using a dual boot pc in my home. windows and ubuntu 8.04 then i removed windows and installed pcbsd and reinstalled grub so as to access both bsd/ubuntu. but the problem started when i reinstalled windows after removing pcbsd. i have got a sata hard disk. when scsi IDE mode (in bios) is selected, the grub is not detected and grub error 18 is showing. but when the RAID mode is selected, the grub is showing but while trying to select windows, a disk error is showing. before this installation there was no such problem. windows is a must because my sister is having turboC++ board exam. the output of the *lspci *command is given below *00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc.
