[Ilugc] ILUGC Stall at OSI Days

2010-09-19 Thread Shrinivasan T
Friends.

Today, we had our ILUGC stall in OSI Days.
Printed the handouts and distributed to all visitors.

Most people wondered to know our activities and
appreciated our teams contributions.

Thanks for Raman, Shakthi kannan, Dhilip, Kumaresan, Sriram, Jeyanthan
and Sudharsan
for the handling the stall.

Here are some snaps.
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=38413&id=133359730009404

For tomorrow and day after tomorrow's sessions,
we need volunteers to take care of the stall.

Please goto OSI days if you are free and be in the stall
to explain about our activities to the visitors.

Thanks.

[Ilugc] Removing Byte Order Mark from PHP output

2010-09-19 Thread Vinodh Rajan
Hi,

Whenever I echo something in PHP, the BOM gets appended automatically.

I am trying to print an output as XML. However, the resultant XML Is not
well formed, as the BOM gets appended before the resultant XML.

Parsers are not able to read the XML.

Is there any way to avoid or disable the BOM in PHP ?

[Ilugc] OAOD (QUCS)

2010-09-19 Thread Dhastha Gheer
Application: QUCS

What it is:

Qucs is an integrated circuit simulator which means you are able to
setup a circuit with a graphical user interface (GUI) and simulate the
large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. After
that simulation has finished you can view the simulation results on a
presentation page or window.

To know more about:

http://qucs.sourceforge.net/

To install in Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install qucs
