I have managed a Cluster of three nodes using Shared storage
filesystem GFS, and LVS for load balancing.

LVS is a good place to start with to understand nuts and bolts, It
just needs more than one NIC on a dsktop.

I have not tried LVS on VMs though.

I personally feel that too much design and specs strangle a project, but
admittedly my experiences is in end user applications - not the kind of
thing Bell labs does. Further, Bell labs is Bell labs.

Yes you can.

   - Start Stellarium
   - Press F5 to show Date/time window (if you want to simulate it now) and
change the date to 2012/06/06 and the time to an appropriate value. If you
want to see the first point of contact, set the time to 3:41 AM. But you
will have to remove the ground (by pressing G) as the sun will be below the
   horizon for us.
   - Press Ctrl+F and search for `Venus`. Stellarium will center the
   display on Venus.
   - Now, press Ctrl+Up arrow to zoom into the Sun and Venus system. You
will be able to see the transit.

I guess, these ISPs have just gone wild and blocked a lot of things even
the ones not in the court order. Apparently, as per the hindu article,
this is a mistake and was not intended.

http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/article3429836.ece

"Harish Ram, CEO, Copyright Labs, hired by producers of the movie 3, R K
Productions Private Limited, for the online anti-piracy management of
the movie, said that the ISPs had misinterpreted the order. “Instead of
blocking specific URLs that were screening the movie, they blocked the
whole sites,” he said.."

I wonder if there is a clause in the court order to remove the block
after a specific period of time. IMO, the ISPs might just forget to
remove the block and its us who face problems in the end.

Thanks.

I only felt you could have reached out to me too to listen & then made
it up.

Hope you will do it after this at-least or in any thing you will come
across of such kind in future: listening to the other end, before
rushing up to a conclusion.

You can write to me & visit me at our office that in Nadanam. Wishing to
meet you dude!

Do refer about this program to your known circle.

Say to the corporates you know to adopt such programs that will promote
Open Source.

Consider, some one completing B.Sc., (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) -
taking up a three year option to pursue M.C.A.,

After three years they will end up mostly without any work experience.
Then they have to get into job to gain experience.

Anna Univ came with this program. And it is happening two days in a
week. The rest of the days if they work inline with what they study,
after two years imagine their status?

But, one thing that is troubling this program is that, if there aren't
enough candidates (50 of them) registering the course is dropped.

I thought we should do something that we can that will be mutually
beneficial.

Say four companies come forward with similar programs - they can have 10
candidates each & University will have 40 students.

Not only that I have said to my team that we have to do this, I also
approached few more companies to come out with similar programs & they
too felt it is workable.

So if you are working think of it, propose it to your management & speak
to some other corporates too.

Take the discussion in line with topic & than spitting personal venom
listening just to one end. Hope you will come forward to meet me soon.
