[Ilugc] Tamil Translation

Hi,
  This is Arun from The Computer Society of MIT, we are having an idea to
conduct a competition for college students. The competition involves
translating strings from any free software, the person translating most no
of strings wins. Is it possible to have a competition like this? and we
would like to have the list of free softwares that can be translated to
tamil.

[Ilugc] gnometerminal tamil unicode support

In my python script set encoding as utf-8
when printed Unicode Tamil text doesn't shown well in gnome terminal.
But well shown in gedit.
I have used Tamil unicode  keyboard layout in Ubuntu 12.04(up to date)
how to resolve this problem.
