Re: [Ilugc] Help_reg
Hi manimaran, you wil see a folder lost+found; you can check your partition size by using some tools such as gpartition. or disks will be listed on left margin of your /home -- have you checked it. Do check it. disks which are not mounted will mount if you double click. default disk will naturally be mounted. If you are running the ubuntu without the liv CD/ pendrive. then it is sure that you have created some partition on which your ubuntu runs. do check out the number of partitions you have, the memory available and check whether it matches with all the capacity that you have in your PC. I taught this course three times last year. One of our central aims is to help our students navigate the kind of obstacles to Wikipedia engagement that are frequently discussed on this list; and our students have done excellent work, and generally had good experiences. [Ilugc] Freelancing
I am just about set to do some freelancing projects - but I get a bit confused while using Freelancing website and its concept. Also I am not sure which site is best for searching Embedded Systems / MATLAB and Linux core projects. Which website we should use and not use? Is there a list of webitses that guarantees genuine clients and their accountability. How projects are delivered and money is paid? So whats the basic concept of Freelancing projects posted in websites - how one gets paid and what are the +/- of being involved in it? Thanks in advance. [Ilugc] Call for speakers - February Meet
Dear Team, I have 10 years experience in .NET technologies. I am presently a senior software engineer. I would like to participate in this meet and would like to take a session on Email Etiquette for about 20 minutes. Also I am working on an open source project named XtensionSuite. This is basically a bunch of extension methods for .NET data types. I plan to take a session on this topic also. This will be useful for .NET developers to avoid repetitive coding. If there are good number of .NET developers going to participate in this meeting and if you feel this would be useful to them, please let me know. This may take about 1 hour, because I plan to give an overview of extension methods and then about my project. Please let me know in advance, so that I can plan accordingly.
