Is your Ubuntu version LTS? Open a terminal, and paste the output of
the following command:

  $ lsb_release -a

From a terminal, can you try do an "apt-get update" first, and then
install the package?

  $ apt-get update

[Ilugc] Git server set up in local network

Hi Team,

   In our environment we are plaaning to set up a GIT server in our office
and do data push and pull from windows machine.


How do i create a GIT local repository in our ubuntu 15.10 server and clone
it and
do push and pull data from a windows client .Friends pls suggest me .
