Hey guys... i downloaded openbravo from virtualmachine disk and made run on
virtualbox. I am able to ping to internet from the VM but i am not able to
connect from host to the VM webserver ip


my host network cong is
 inet addr:192.168.1.7  Bcast:192.168.1.255  Mask:255.255.255.0

and my VM
 inet addr:10.0.2.15  Bcast:10.0.2.15.255  Mask:255.255.255.0

What changes should i make?

[Ilugc] how to get rid of malware in ubuntu

all of sudden i dont know why  my google chrome is opening up with
http://static.bestsocialfeed.com/ntp/newtab.html?tv=1.1&t=1.1&u=852621917 when
openned newly.

after little googling founded it as malware and there are few solutions for
windows dont know how to handle in ubuntu.

some one please help it out...

[Ilugc] htaccess or rewrite engine not working

Hello guys previously i was developing a slim based php project on my
machine which was running on ubuntu 11(with lamp stack) later i backed up
my project and formatted my machine and upgraded my OS. now when run the
same app on my upgraded machine api is not responding and i am getting '404
Not found' response for the api call. but static pages works fine and
rewrite engine is also enabled. Note: this app works absolutely fine on
windows/wamp.

I dont know how to figure out the issue, please give me some clue.

But table page breaks works fine with the firefox, the problem with the
firefox is since i m using tamil unicode fonts it prints a circle with
thunaikal and all. if that circle issue is solve i will stick with firefox.
is there any way to solve that?

i tested it on the Chrome and firefox

when i print from firefox page break works fine at the same time when i
print the output table from chrome it splits up the table rows at the page

I am working on a web app. which deals with the data from db and shows the
report on the browser in HTML table. everything works fine when i wanted to
print the output table  cells are being split by page break. i tried all
sort of googling all i found is recent webkit browser doesnt supports the
page-break css property can anyone help me to sort this.

Hello all, I need help in writing the SQL Query i am struct at a point.
here goes my case.


I have two tables namely "member" and "payments" example structure of
member is

and the payment table is as follows

i want to fetch the records from the member table who are not made the
payment in the given year. for example if i enter 2000

it must return

can any one tell me how to query it.

Hello everyone.
 I did created a Database with "utf8_general_ci"
and the i tried inserting tamil unicode values directly through
phpmyadmin and it worked perfectly. when i tried writing the the
server script on my app and inserted the values though query execute
statement its again writing the unknow chars in db. kindly give me a
clue to come over it.

Hi
   My question is very silly but i dont know how to handle it.
when i do some changes from a CMS say it is Wordpress its not reflecting
the changes on the file. like its not writing the config file and when i
change the permalinks its not writing the .htaccess file. i know the
reason because it doesnt have root access. when i do it through the
terminal i m able to do it since i get the access to root before i do the
operation. what is the the solution for this how can i get rid of this
issue?

P.S. i use ubuntu

Hi guys.
I tried installing fedena on the localhost and i was very
comfortable to make it work on the local machine. when i tried to host it
on the shared server its becoming wired few people says thats the thing
with the service or hosting provider. when i tried to follow up the
installing instruction it end up with something like passenger missing.
so i kindly request you to help me out. if any one makes a video tutorial
for that will be great for the community.

When i try to load twitter.com its disconnecting my internet connectivity
i am using Ubuntu 11.10 and 3g connection from my mobile phone
i tried this from 2 different browsers but its causing the same
*Chrome
*FireFox

i hope as soon as the laptops are released 1st it ill go to private service
centers near by :P as ELCOT TVs went :D there those guys will reformat
it and they ill install the pirated copy of XP or WIN7 and make money from
that the thing is we need to aware the service center guys and the
hardware enggs to go FOSS...
