[Ilugc] Why India Should Use Open-Source Software
Hello, I have compiled an outline, advocating the use of Open-Source Software. This list could be used by anyone wishing to make a case for Open-Source Software. You might not agree with all of it, but I would like to hear your views. Please help me improve this further: http://ownlifeful.blogspot.com/2013/04/india-and-open-source-software.html Thanks, - Ashwin Dixit. = Subvert the dominant paradigm. sankarshan, thanks for the link! While creating a national Linux distribution is an expensive and complex task, IMHO the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. It's hard, not impossible! Re: [Ilugc] where we use input redirection?
Mohan R, Thanks for your very educational response! I have a small question. Mohan, or anyone else, please feel free to answer. Some programs expect an argument on the command line. Re: [Ilugc] [0T] Suggestion
With Google Search, you are not the customer, you are the product. Google stores all kinds of data about you and mines it to benefit their real customers.
