[Ilugc] GIT Push Permission issue.
Hi Friends, ** ** I am facing an issue in GIT control version system i.e. GIT-push. ** ** I am using debian-5 server, as repository for my GIT project (project name :: xxx.git) ** ** This project was clone by few team (windows & linux) members with their respective debian linux credentials. They are changing their project code locally, and trying to commit + push the code to server. ** ** The error occurs below, during push the modified code by user. ** ** C:\Program Files\Git\bin\git.exe push --recurse-submodules=check "origin" master:master Done error: unable to create temporary sha1 filename ./objects/8a: Permission denied ** ** fatal: failed to write object error: unpack failed: unpacker exited with error code To user1@ip-address:/var/www/xxx.git/ ! [remote rejected] master -> master (n/a (unpacker error)) error: failed to push some refs to user1@ip-address:/var/www/xxx.git/ ** ** ** ** At the time, GIT administrator executing the command “git gc” into the project to solve this problem at that time (i.e. temporarily). ** ** Please help for the permanent solution. Thanks for your reply post. I just added 2 lines into sources.list while executing this line cat dotdeb.gpg | sudo apt-key add - i got the message like this, sudo: unable to resolve host kitkat OK # And i done the remaining part, upgrate & disk-upgrade And restarted the machine. But, still in was in same version 5.2.6 No changes.. Hi Friends, I am using Debian GNU/Linux 5.0, and presently PHP version as 5.2.6. I wish to upgrade the PHP version from 5.2 to 5.3. I was tried to upgrade the version, but saying PHP has already newest version. Please let me know the solution, if anybody tried this before? And he is ready to support for FOSS lab set up for any affiliated colleges under Pondicherry University. [Ilugc] Couldn't able to install package on Debian..
Hi, i was using Debian 5.0 version. And i am trying to install apache2 & php5 using the command "apt-get install apache2 php5" But i am getting errors like, Reading package lists Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Couldn't find package php5 Not only this package, if i used to install any package using apt command i am getting the same error.. Presently i used to download the .deb file & installing..
