Re: [Ilugc] Gcc error message in Fedora 12

2011-11-20 Thread Sanjay Chigurupati
Hi,
ask him to try installing it in a fedora 12 system that is natively installed
and not in virtual system. I think its the virtual system that is creating
problem.

Sanjay

Fedora 12 is outdated but yet i think the problem is not
 Fedora 12 but if
you check this download link of Network Simulator

 it is
strictly mentioned that the latest version runs only on
 Red-hat Fedora 12.
I think this is the reason he is sticking with Fedora 12.
 any suggestions
 for solution on this error?

 Friends.

Where can we get the latest news, updates on security
 issues, vulnerabilities,
patches, fixes for various open source applications?

We can get them in respective app's site.
Is there any center location to get them all?

 Thanks.

[Ilugc] Problem with Fedora 12

2010-03-04 Thread Sanjay Chigurupati
Hi,
I have fedora 12 installed on my laptop. I had installed youtube-dl package
and downloaded a youtube video from the net.
While shutting down the system, I noticed the rpcbind failed message during
shutdown process. It came up twice.

Today morning, when I restarted, I am able to get into windows.
On linux, its taking forever. I dont see any text console when I do
ctrl-alt-f1 or ctrl-alt-f2.

any ideas on what went wrong and how I can recover it.

Regards
Sanjay
