Hi, I also stumbled upon this tool: https://live.gnome.org/Pinpoint It's a simple presentation tool, where you edit your presentations using a text editor. Seems like it would come in very handy for many of us. No, it does not have any graphical tool to make presentations. It does not seem to be as complex as LaTeX as it does not have any container markup tags. It appears to be so simple even for absolute beginners. People who fear LaTeX beamer would love it.. 2012/2/28 prasannatsmkumar prasannatsmku...@gmail.com Is it available in ubuntu repo? at least not in 10.10 repo. It is available in 12.04 beta which is what I run on my machine. This project is quite new so I do not think it will be available by default on older versions of Ubuntu.
