If it is the Fusioh distro you are referring to then I would suggest
go with a LTS distro like CentOS, especially if this is in an
enterprise network.  GLPI works fine on CentOS.

BTW, you never did elaborate on the spiceworks features that you found
lacking in GLPI.

Also, follow list guidelines
1. Do *not* top post   - it is not that difficult to compose
inter-leaved messages.  It need one extra click on the three ... at
the bottom of Gmail composer.

Deploy.

I have deployed GLPI+OCS for over 250 locations in a single instance.

And many more for 2++ locations.

I don't even remember the number of nodes and I can reveal the
instances (for obvious privacy reasons).

Oldest being somewhere around 2008 or so.

And all of them to my know knowledge have been chugging along all these years.

And some of earlier ones (horror of horror) on fedora (which
unfortunately have never upgraded to centos) because IT_JUST_WORKS.

So tell me where, wherever have you have you found any issues?
