I was not too enthused with the KDE 4.x in Ubuntu 8.04 and openSUSE 
11.0.  However, first looks of Mandriva 2009.0 (DVD bundled with Linux 
For You Nov/08) with KDE 4.1.2 is quite impressive.

Well, Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex comes with KDE 4.1.2 and has upgrade 
for it (KDE 4.1.3)

Hi All


All excited with the release of ubuntu 8.10 I installed it the next day 
it was released. And since then I have been
trying to install KDE3.5 on it. And I am going nowhere, I have googled 
and googled with nothing concrete.


Intrepid by default comes with KDE 4, although I love KDE, but KDE4 is 
absolutely unacceptable.


Please please someone help me
