[Ilugc] creating live usb for booting fedora 14

hi,

I did yum install liveusb-creator. It installed. then I tried to run it,
but I find it has installed the fedora Live iso for fedora 13. The
creator finds that checksum does not match and hangs. Any clues?

Actually I am trying to create a usb boot for a netbook - if there is
any other way please let me know.

Try Unetbootin or FUSBi .

after installing on fedora 12 I get:
unetbootin: symbol lookup error: unetbootin: undefined symbol:
_ZN9QListData7detach3Ev

The binary is incompatible with your Fedora install.

unetbootin was unable to create LiveUSB for openSUSE 11.1 from the LiveCD.

Try this link  for instructions on
specific distros.  Keep in mind that distros do change the liveCD FS
layout.  With openSUSE it has become as simple as dd if=LiveCD.iso
of=/dev/sdX  (where sdX is the pen drive).  YMMV with other distros.
