[Ilugc] my dvd drive is not working can i install ubuntu from pen drive

It did not work - got a msg that said that no kernel image was found. Many have faced this problem - which seems to be because of a problem in the usb creation utility! Finally, managed to do it only after writing the image to a CD! But others have done it without trouble.
