You have plenty of opportunities to learn. You have plenty of
companies in Chennai some
of which do world class work.

I will be conducting a seminar on linux device drivers sometime next
month(July).
Perhaps you could attend it.
Please don't depend upon seminars to learn. They only help you after
you have helped
yourself.
Start browsing and learning on your own. Or catch hold of a linux
person near you and start
learning on your own. It is not so hard. What is needed is will and courage.
