I was looking at the list archives in both gmane and mailman. In gmane the obfuscation of email addresses is done properly. The domain name is concealed. In mailman, the obfuscation is not done according to the accepted standard. The full email address is revealed, but 'at' substituted for '@'. Even a child can write a script to decode this. And address harvesters have far more sophisticated scripts at their command.
