Hello, I installed Skim and i dont remember of ibus installation, but got ibus option .http://ta.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E0%AE%AE%E0%AF%81%E0%AE%A4%E0%AE%B1%E0%AF%8D_%E0%AE%AA%E0%AE%95%E0%AF%8D%E0%AE%95%E0%AE%AE%E0%AF%8D Can I request that a bug be filed or, a discussion be done on the #fedora-i18n channel ? Hi ! I installed ibus and boosters for tamil. I could choose the tamil phonetic language now. But, I am still not able to get the phonetic typing working. I get the Keyboard icon in the notification - ibus runs perfectly. I chose tamil keyboard layout in Regional and language settings. Where am I missing out ? Then right click on i bus icon in notification area, go to preference you will find few of languages expand drop-down list. Then choose tamil phonetic. Then add it. While clicking in text box press Ctrl+space to enable the chosen phonetic. Hello, I did try installing ibus and the booster packages for tamil. But, I couldn't find the Tamil keyboard layout even then. Yes you will not get. you need to start it manually for the first time. Yes. Have you tried ibus? yum install ibus. There is also a tamil typing booster available.
