Three mistakes in one post from a "certified" LSA!
Manish take time out and read mailing list HOTOW's. Thread hijacking and
quoting an entire digest with a top post is just not done. Even the
digest says right on top "Please trim post..."

Package: squid
Vulnerability : mising input sanitising
Problem-Type : remote
Debian-specific: no
CVE ID : CAN-2005-0446

Upstream developers have discovered several problems in squid, the
Internet object cache, the popular WWW proxy cache. A remote attacker
can cause squid to crash via certain DNS responses.

For the stable distribution (woody) these problems have been fixed in
version 2.4.6-2woody7.

For the unstable distribution (sid) these problems have been fixed in
version 2.5.8-3.

We recommend that you upgrade your squid package.

It is a good opportunity for a coup d'etat . BLUG seems to have
dissolved, the mailing list is full of people (or is it just a single
entity ;-) ) flaming each other for top-posting and instead of LUG meets
there are now BoF meets attended by 3-4 people.

I will defiantly miss the fun filled Sunday evenings spent over food and
informative, fun filled discussions with the loud-mouthed ILUGD members
when I move to Bangalore. If there is any chance that the ILUGD members
stationed at Bangalore can recreate a small piece of Delhi in the barren
wastes of the mallu-land, I am all for it :-)

firefox on windows also displays the same problem.
the only solution is to use IE if u can not dump icici.

this problem was hotly debated on this list sometime last year when it
was added and subsequently removed from the hall of shame.
This extract from that series
(dated 10/13/04; Subject [ilugd] [RANT & Maybe OT] Wired - weird India ")
would be helpful to u

" In most cases however the problem
happens because the websites use proprietary extensions to web
standards(like IE specific DOM in Javascript, or using VBScript instead of
javascript or using IE specific HTML like in teh case of icicidirect.com).
These problems cant be solved by juggling with browsers. (exception being I
think Opera which can emulate IE *behavior* if asked)."

Ok screw Lphoto, i tried Digikam again after a couple of months and now
combined with all the plugins it kicks ass. Anyone with lots of photos
to manage, give it a try. It was in the Mandrake contrib so just a urpmi
worked, dont forget to also get digikam-plugins .
