I tried different port numbers(),assuming 8080 might be blocked by my isp(mtnl broadband), but i could not get connected. I am using mozilla-firefox on mandriva and i get a "The connection was refused when attempting to contact http://192.168.1.1:"; Hi, I am using a similar D-Link ADSL Router (502-T) on my MTNL Broadband connection. I have successfully forwarded port 80, 5208 (VNC), 1723 (PPTP) on this router. Ive discovered that the magic is to use IE to configure the router as any other Browser does not work esp in the advanced commands (eg When I click on Save & Reboot thro FireFox, nothing happens but thro IE6 it works just fine!!). The irony of the whole thing is that the DSL has embedded Linux in it. (Telnet into it and you get a Busybox shell). Hope this helps catch ya later (Ive gotta UnWire Life!!!) shiv - Yahoo!
