[ilugd] what news of OSIW
dear all, this is the *first* time that i've skipped LinuxAsia renamed now to OSIW. thought i'd see some discussions or posts on ilug-d. am sure people are attending. what's happening? how's it going? haven't been able to stumble across any news from the mumbai and bangalore segments either. strangely the site doesn't have the daily update somewhere, either. regards niyam -- niyam bhushan ___ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - February 22-24, 2008 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/

[ilugd] U.P.T.U. in hall of shame OR ???
Hi I am a student in the Uttar Pradesh Technical university (UPTU), supposedly the largest TECHNICAL university in Asia. Its been some days since I have been abusing the site admin for not even having the syllabus on the official university website. Everytime when I dropped in on the site, I could see the links in the front row not working and that even consisted of the syllabus link. Last night talking among friends I got to know that the links do work but ONLY when you open the site on IE. they dont work on Firefox or even opera for that matter. Quite amazed by this fact I switched on Winduhs on my system and voila it worked. Astonished by this fact I thought of asking you people that whether it is a technical glitch, or some thing else which I cant figure out or the UPTU simply deserves a place in the ILUGD Hall of Shame ?? p.s the site is : http://uptu.org in case you want to see it yourself. regards -- I m a gr8 believer in luck and I find the harder I try the more I have of it Abhinav Sahai R.KG.I.T Ghaziabad 4th Yr CSE Linux User # 438077 Moderator Ghaziabad LUG http://nerdysahai.info http://nerdysahai.wordpress.com http://flickr.com/photos/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ ___ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - February 22-24, 2008 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
