You have specified amavis as the content filter

content_filter = amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024

but either its not configured or not running. So postfix is not able to
connect to it and is generating the following message in the logs:

While reading today i came to know a concept in php that we can run it
under servlet environment using PHP SAPI module. I went through it and
installed it on my machine also ran some small examples but i couldn't
understand what is the use of it as i have never felt that there was
anything i couldn't do with php.
Any help or discussion on this would be helpful.

Totally agree. Also using Puppet for managing the 10s of web servers.
We need to talk about this stuff in the meetings. There are lot of
webops sys admins lurking in this list who are doing some funky stuff.
Time to start bragging.
Wont be in town for the meet on 23rd, maybe next month I can talk about Puppet.

I do use Puppet extensively for automating deployments. I suppose you
are looking for Chef in particular

Though it may be good to discuss the experiences in real life
deployments with both.
