Hey Friends, Today we had a nice time with the school students during the ILUG-D Monthly Meet which started with the Introduction part of nand2tetrishttp://www.nand2tetris.org project by Nisha Thompson. The session goes on till 1 and hour and not only students we also got to know about some thing new. Then a brief introduction on How to use Wikipedia as a school student by Sheel Sindhu Manohar followed by the introduction of other open source projects by Satyakam Goswami and Anuvrat Parashar. Session was awesome as the school students were curiously asking questions and they also taking points for they can search thing on websites in there free time. And ending with same Chai and Samosas of JNU's Cafetaria. These are just some of the ideas that can go into the app. We will leave the idea open and see if they can come up with things which are more innovative/attractive. *Eligible Industries:* 1. Restaurant 2. Super Market(e.g. Walmart, Big Baazar, Vishal Mega mart, etc) 3. Shopping Malls *Technology :* While we do not want students to build a Facebook application but we want it ultimately to be used there. So, the web app should follow the size guidelines of Facebook Canvas ( 510 width * 2000 pixels +length) . (Recommended : Also, building a Facebook app requires SSL certificate so students are better off building a stand alone web app.) They can use any platform/technology and also refer to existing applications on Facebook for inspiration. Hi Friends, i given the Two DVDs of SchoolOS to my professors in my college *Jamia Millia Islamia* . They really liked this project and said *Its a good effort * . Also given instructions to some of the Final year students to use this OS in their PC .
