Red Hat has the requirement for Sales Engineers (3-5 years of relevant work experience) with demonstrated ability to take on technical consulting assignments and Project Management Skills. Should be capable of learning on the fly and a team player comfortable working in tandem with a virtual team. The current positions are based out of BLR and BOM but would involve moderate to heavy travelling on a quarterly basis for on-site projects. The candidate should also be aware of various Open Source technologies in Clustering, High Performance Computing, Mail & Messaging (including Groupware) as well have exposure to Virtualisation Technologies. Experience of Linux and Unix variants in the various domains mentioned above is a *required* factor. The job might involve light physical exertion. The work environment is both virtual and real-time.
