when you connect to apache using HTTPS, you are prompted for a security alert.
The alert is generated by the browser IFF...
1.) you do not trust the certificate issuer.
2.) the cert is expired.
3.) the cert subject DN does not match the name of URL.
BUT this is just a warning, you may accept the cert still. and start using the secured
conn.

Dear all,
I am facing some problems in connecting to Squirrelmail web interface
thru https.
I am getting error as CErtificate could not be verified but i have
checked the key and crt and both have the same records for Modulus and
Public Exponent..
