Ubuntu 5.10 (DVD ) had in its repositories some of the dictionaries and a Thesaurus as pointed out in the link sent by Abhijit > > You might need to configure dictd a bit (tell it what dictionaries are > available, etc) -- it's been a long time since I ran it locally. seems easy enough in the gnome-dictionary preference - too easy in fact so am i missing anything thanks and regards ram _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
