Else get your hands dirty a little bit. One way is to install pfSense (www.pfsense.com) on your gateway, define an intelligent mix of the traffic shaping queues and firewall rules leading to your solution. you can also write a cron script to change the traffic shaping rules based on time. Hello members In our college we have network containing hostels and departments. The college has a 1mbps bandwidth and i want to distribute separate bandwidths to the different departments and hostels through SQUID. I have very little idea about configuring delay pools in squid. Please give any solutions or links regarding squid or any 3rd party softwares in order to distribute bandwidths.
