Try using the redhat binary. It works fine. Did anyone try Yahoo Messenger for Linux on Mandrake ? There arent any binaries for it and the source is not there either. Generally the problem is fixed in a few days, but it takes a bit more time to take out an official release sometimes. Also check out ayttm on sourceforge. It uses a totally different yahoo client library, and that might work before gaim does.
