hi yogesh wlans come in two modes: infrastructure and ad-hoc. but considering your requirements, u should operate in infrastructure mode. there would be one (or more) Access Point (AP) and all the clients would have wireless ethernet cards installed in them. The AP provides an interface between the wired and wireless networks. So, you can actually continue to run your servers on the wired n/w. we have deployed a wlan in our campus and use Dlink products. They operate at 22 Mbps.
